The Australian Sheep Dog Workers Association is to facilitate communications with the State working sheep dog associations, liaise with corporate sponsors, foster newcomers to the sport, organise major trials such as the annual Supreme Australian Championship, and to host and organise the annual Trans Tasman Test series between Australia and New Zealand.

The QWSDAI is made up of a group of people who work three sheep through a designated course using a sheepdog ( Border Collies or Kelpies) to obtain a score out of 100 points.
“The Queensland Working Sheepdog Association was started to promote the Working Sheep Dog and its work to the general public and amongst sheep breeders. The QWSDAI aims to encourage and develop a high standard of working sheep dog (Border Collies and Kelpies) and to help promote, encourage and assist the running of sheepdog trials, including 3 Sheep ( arena), Utility, Yard and Short course trials.”

The objects for which the Incorporate is established are: To promote among the sheep breeders of the Commonwealth and the general public, a wide interest in working sheepdog and his work; To faster, promote and maintain the purity and improve the breeds of the working sheep dog; To collect, verify and publish information relating to the working sheepdog; To establish and maintain a panel of judges for working sheepdog and sheepdog trials; To establish a register for working sheepdogs; To adopt standards for working sheepdog trials; To take such steps for the purpose of procuring contributions to the funds of the Incorporate in the shape of donations, annual subscriptions or otherwise, as may from time to time be deemed expedient; To hold periodical sheepdog trials and field trials, etc. wherever considered advisable.

The West Australian working sheep dog association (WAWSDA) is made up of six affiliated clubs which are spread across the state. These clubs hold sheep dog trials as wide spread as Esperance to Ballidu.
The trials range from arena trials (3 sheep) to the more farm based yard and utility trials.

Clinics are held weekends on a regular basis and small group training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Your trainer Dale is an experienced trainer and succesful trialler and uses a range of techniques both on sheep and ducks.
Herding dog training holds regular herding dog training classes conveniently located in the Melbourne suburb of Kilsyth.
Charlie Brincat is the herding dog trainer and loves to pass his skills on to others wishing to train their best friends, in the art of herding.
Charlie found that by providing suitable training, his best friend excelled and both gained a lot of enjoyment, an experience Charlie now enjoys sharing with others.

Australian Working Dog Rescue is a non profit charitable institution whose primary function is to save working dog breeds from being euthanased in council pounds and shelters and find new homes for them. We cover the entire continent of Australia which encompasses Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.

Animal Rescue QLD Inc (ARQ) is a registered charity that was started as a result of the flood affected animals in SEQ in January 2011. After our founder, Mel Gillard, saw firsthand the devastation these floods had on not only people and their homes, but also their pets, it was clear that there was not enough being done in our local community to look after homeless animals. As a result ARQ was formed to assist with their inflated numbers of animals during the flood period. We were able to help these animals out of the overcrowded shelter environment and into loving and caring foster homes.

This club is to help people who are interested in training their dogs to work stock. All levels are catered for from beginners to those trialling. We train on sheep and meet mostly each month at various properties in the Southern Downs (Warwick Qld) area.
